ATMA AYURVEDA TREATMENT PACKAGES

Atma Ayurveda treatment packages are entirely designed in accordance with the treatment modalities mentioned in the Ayurvedic classics. We believe strongly that each and every person is a separate identity constituting the body, mind and soul; the ailments faced by each individual will also be different, even though they may be called under the same name sometimes. So before prescribing any treatments or medicine, it is the discretionary power of the Ayurvedic physician to assess the Prakriti of the individual considering the individual's physical, mental and social parameters. And this makes the treatments for every individual different, and Ayurveda is a science which has numerous modalities to perform this. So the point we want to make clear is that apart from providing some peripheral therapies which soothes the external body, we in Atma are concerned with the individual as a whole, healing the body, mind and soul. Hence our therapies are specially designed to have a real holistic approach of healing the ailment of the trio. The body is having a healing mechanism of its own which we call it in many names viz, Immunity, Body energy, Ojas etc. Ayurveda considers it as an attribute of the Ojas. Ayurvedic treatments in Atma are specially designed in such a way as to enhance the power of the body's healing mechanism, strengthening the Ojas and thereby providing a disease free, healthy life. Even though the treatments are unique to each individual, here we present some packages of therapies for certain conditions to get a rough idea of the procedures we do here in Atma. These are certain points to be kept in mind while going through the packages.

• The therapies will be selected by the Physician after a careful evaluation of the client's ailments and assessing the Prakriti.
• The therapies mentioned herewith are done by experienced and trained Ayurvedic Physicians themselves.
• The external therapies will be supplemented with internal Ayurvedic Medicines also for effective healing.
• The oils, powders and other medicines used for these therapies vary from person to person depending on the condition.
• The duration of the packages ranges from a minimum of 10 days to 30 days as the case may be.

1. Rheumatism Package.

Ayurveda considers this as a Vata Vyadhi (disease of the Vata origin). Usually it will have combination of other doshas also. Here is an outline of the therapies.

• Abhyanga (Oil Massage)

2. Skin Disease Package.

Skin diseases generally have a pitta- kapha origin and hence the treatments are mostly reducing or expelling the vitiated pitta and kapha from the body without harming the vata.

3. Neurological Disease Package

This again is a field of Vata Vyadhi presenting as diseases like Hemiplegia, Cervical and Lumbar spondylosis, Facial palsy, Brachial neuralgia, Sciatica etc.

4. Slimming and Beauty Package

The slimming packages in Atma are designed not only for the obese persons but also for those who wish to have a healthy and attractive body stature. Atma slimming package help to reduce the excess fat in the body, increases stability of the body, promotes excellent skin, improves body complexion, prevents untimely drowsing and provides a sense of lightness.

Ayurveda has a vast description about the various gynaecological complaints and the possible ways of successful management of these conditions. In Atma we deal with a variety of gynaecological complaints like PCOD, Uterine fibroids, Dysmenorrhoea, Amenorrhoea, Leucorrhoea etc. Infertility is also a field where the Ayurvedic medicines and treatments yield promising results. 6. Rejuvenation Package

Rejuvenation or Rasyana karma is unique to Ayurveda. The rejuvenation packages, aimed at enhancing the body's natural healing mechanism, reverts the ageing process and keeps the body active, vibrant and free of ailments. Almost all of the therapies mentioned in above contexts are rejuvenating also in nature and they will be selected according to the needs or diagnosis of the client by the physician. The medicines and herbs used for these will be obviously rejuvenating in nature

7. Mental Stress Package

This is a field of utmost importance as Ayurveda says that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body and vice versa. So to keep the body healthy your mind has to be healthy. Like the tridoshas of body, there are qualities of mind also like Satwa, Raja and Tama. The last two are precisely called as Mano- doshas meaning the doshas of mind. So to have a pleasant, calm, healthy mind, the Satwa guna has to be increased and the mental stress package in Atma aims at attaining that. Whatever may be the reasons of your disturbed mental condition, the package helps in attaining inner peace and tranquillity.

8. Salakya Package ( For diseases of the head, nose, eyes, ear , throat)

This package is designed to give more emphasis on the cure of diseases affecting the sense organs like ears, eyes, and nose and for head and throat. Moreover this helps in keeping these organs healthy and maintains their power of perception at its maximum.
