About ATMA

Atma is the fruit of a long cherished dream of two young Ayurvedic Physicians of Kerala. Atma is their medium to understand, practice and propagate this science of life to the humanity.

ATMA- the name indicates ”self”. Atma Ayurvedasram provides you an opportunity to re invent your own self.
The current synthetic life style of modern man has lead to many health hazards. The stress and strain of day –to –day life is a major factor for many chronic diseases. So it is high time to check back to ones own self to re-energize, revitalize and rejuvenate the body, mind and soul. This can be attained by revitalizing your body elements with the help of time tested Ayurvedic therapies and regimens.
In ATMA you can experience the authentic care of Ayurveda in its full essence.

Our Philosophy is to extend the benefits of this age old science of life, in its full essence and authenticity to the humanity.

All you need is to have some time to spend with us in ATMA.

The Physicians and Directors of ATMA are Dr.Manu.S.Sankar and his wife Dr.C.V.Priyatha Dev. Dr.Manu completed his Ayurvedic studies from Santhigiri Ayurveda College, Palakkad,Kerala and then he acquired practical training and knowledge from his Guru Ayurvedacharya Dr.P.M.S.Raveendranath ( a renowned Ayurvedic physician who is the disciple of Ashtavaidyan Vaidyamadom Valiya Narayanan Namboothiri). He stayed with Vaidya Raveendranath for 3 years in his Asram studying and practicing various aspects of Ayurveda and Panchakarma.

Together with Dr.Manu is his wife Dr.Priyatha. She represents the 4th generation of a family of traditional vaidyas in Northern Kerala. She completed her Ayurvedic graduation form Santhigiri Ayurveda College, Palakkad and then she also became a disciple of Vaidya P.M.S.Raveendranath. She is also a practitioner of Reiki healing.

The immense thought of starting a centre of their own, where they can share their knowledge of Ayurveda for the needy, made them open ATMA Ayurvedasram in Manappally, a village in Kollam District of Kerala
